2008 CRCMining Safety Awards

CRCMining is introducing its inaugural Safety Awards to recognise the safety excellence of its students, researchers and administration.

The CRCMining Awards nominations open in mid May and close at the end of June each year. The winners are announced annually during the Australian Mining Technology Conference presented by CRCMining.

The awards provide a great opportunity to recognise safety contributions by individuals and project teams that have shown a commitment to excellence and continual improvement in occupational health and safety.

Award Categories
The Safety Awards categories are:
1. Best individual contribution to improve safety;
2. Best solution to an identified workplace and/or project safety issue; and
3. Best solution to an identified industry safety issue.

The entry guidelines and entry form are available for download below. The closing date for entries is 5pm, June 30, 2008.
