Core participants contribute cash and in-kind support towards CRCMining, established with $12m funding over five years under the Commonwealth Government's Cooperative Research Centres Program.
By pooling their investment in R&D, member companies are able to conduct large-scale research projects that none could tackle on their own. The potential investment returns (in the form of productivity and reliability-enhancing technologies and processes) are substantial thanks to the leveraging of research funds.
