2010 Peter Keayes Awards for Safety Excellence
The Centre is again hosting it annual safety awards to recognise the safety
excellence of its students, researchers and administration.
The Awards honour former Centre Chief Operating Officer Peter Keayes and his commitment to the Centre and Safety.
Nominations for the awards will be accepted during the month of July. The
winners are to be announced during the Australian Mining Technology Conference
presented by CRCMining.
The awards provide a great opportunity to recognise safety contributions by
individuals and project teams that have shown a commitment to excellence and
continual improvement in occupational health and safety.
Award Categories
The Peter Keayes Safety Awards categories are:
1. Best individual or team contribution to improve safety;
and
2. Best solution to an industry, workplace and/or project
safety issue.
The entry guidelines and entry form are available for download below. The
closing date for entries is 5pm, July 30th,
2010.
