How to order (please place orders by close of business Friday 5th February):

Cost: $83.00 per short sleeved jersey.
$93.00 per long sleeved jersey.

Jerseys can be ordered in any quantity. However, if your company has 15 or more riders and can provide a quality logo you can have you logo on the jersey in the middle of the three back pockets (replacing the “CRCMining 2010 Ride” feature). This covers any mixed order: for example 7 short sleeved and 8 long sleeved totals 15 jerseys. So you can get you logo included, thanks to TRIPLE Play!

To order:
a) Send remittance to:
Account name:
CRC Mining
BSB: 034 055
Account: 13 13 45
 and
b) Email David Haneman (david.haneman@crcmining.com.au) confirming your COMPANY and NUMBER of jerseys for EACH SLEEVE LENGTH and EACH SIZE. Please email a high-res company logo if you are ordering 15 or more.

How to get involved
1) PASS ON THE INFORMATION:
Please think about those of your colleagues and mates that would like to do the ride. Please think about your cycling mates in the mining and related industry that have not been covered by the companies listed below and forward the email to them and copy me please (david.haneman@crcmining.com.au). And by the way ...how many of your overseas cycling mates would be interested in a distinctive piece of mining/cycling gear? Send them the email too!

2) REGISTER WITH THE “BARBARIANS ON BIKES” Team at: http://www.ipswich100.com.au/default.asp?PageID=19044

David Haneman is the Team Captain.

Entrants will have the option of participating in the 50km, 100km or 160km rides.

3) CONSIDER GETTING A RIDE JERSEY:
The inaugural 2010 CRCMining “Barbarians on Bikes” ride jersey is here. The theme covers mining from antiquity to the present. Download jersey design (pdf).

The SHOULDERS include the “Hammer and Gad” symbols of the mining industry and the Book Block used on the first edition of Agricola’s “De Re Metallica” of 1556. This book is of great mining significance and historical note. The English version was translated from the Latin by Herbert Clark Hoover and his wife. H C Hoover was a mining engineer, and had worked professionally in Australia. He was also the 31st President of the United States (1929–1933).

On the BACK is a diagram from De Re Metallica.

On the FRONT is a modern head frame.

The sizing chart can be found at http://www.tripleplay.com.au/cycling/sizing.html, and is reproduced below. TRIPLE Play jerseys have an athletic fit...so for those of us that do not have an athletic upper body...go for one size larger.
